It is great to leave the last place in the standings

  • Cologne has been at the bottom since the third round of the Bundesliga. After a 2-0 win over Rhein Derby's rival Leverkusen, the Goats finally got out of the last. Currently they are five points from Mainz who holds the relegation position. This is exactly what Cologne will face in early April.

Rütenbeck’s team scored more points in the second half (14 points) than double (6 points) in the first half. Cologne goalkeeper Horne said after the game: "It's great to finally leave the last one. We put our opponents under pressure and we will put all our efforts into it."
